Organize tasks with lists and smart lists
Two kinds of list help you group work: Lists (you put tasks in them) and Smart lists (they fill themselves from a rule).
A List is a slot a task belongs to (like a bucket). Manage the set under Settings → Lists (Add list); assign a task to one with its List field (on the task page or the New task form).
Smart lists
Section titled “Smart lists”A Smart list is a saved rule over your tasks — for example my high-priority tasks due this week. Build them under Settings → Smart lists:
- Add a smart list and give it a Name and optionally a Description.
- Set its conditions (the fields a task must match — status, priority, project, due, and so on).
- Run it to see the matching tasks; the columns show Task, Status, Priority, Project and Due. Edit or Delete it from the same place. No matches reads No matching tasks.
