Possible duplicates
Duplicates (tagged SUGGESTED MERGES · CONTACTS & COMPANIES · VERIFY NAME-ONLY MATCHES) proposes pairs that may be the same record.
Reviewing
Section titled “Reviewing”- Show name-only matches (low confidence) includes pairs matched only by name — verify these.
- Search candidates… finds a pair by name.
- The header counts the pairs (for example 3 suggested pairs — merge the duplicate into the survivor (B → A)).
The table
Section titled “The table”| Column | Meaning |

| Type | Contact or company. |
| Survivor (A) | The record that is kept. |
| Duplicate (B) | The record that is merged away. |
| Reason | Why the pair was suggested, for example same name — verify. |
| Score | Match confidence, 0–1. |
Select View to inspect both records, or Merge B into A to combine the duplicate into the survivor. Merging is one-way: the survivor keeps its fields and gains the duplicate’s, and the duplicate is removed.
