Start a workflow from any item
You do not have to open VNCworkflow to start a process. From an item that needs approval you can Start workflow in place — a channel topic, a file or a task — and the request is linked back to it.
Where it lives
Section titled “Where it lives”| In | Do this |

| VNCtask+ | Open a task — its row carries a Workflow chip; start from there. |
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- A VNCworkflow request is created, linked to the item.
- The item then shows a Workflow chip with the current state — submitted, forwarded, approved, rejected or commented — and the running Kennung.
- If a request is already running for the item, you are asked “A workflow is already running for this topic/file/task (…). Open it instead?” — select Open to jump to it.
