Composer options
Beyond the fields in the compose window, the composer offers several behaviours.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Scheduled send | Sends the message later. |
| Outbox delay | A configurable delay before anything actually leaves the outbox. |
| Read receipt (MDN) | Requests a return receipt (RFC 8098). |
| Plain-text mode | Switches the body to plain text. |
| Reply-To | Sets a different reply address. |
| From override | Overrides the From header. Replying to an alias on a domain you own auto-fills it as the sender, even with no identity for it. |
| Drafts | Auto-save, keeping the chosen identity, the HTML body and the correct In-Reply-To / References on replies. |
| Quoted text | Lands in an editable island that keeps the original layout; collapse it behind a … toggle. |
| Signature position | Above or below the quoted text, per identity. |
The editor is Tiptap rich-text: inline images, drag-and-drop embedding and tables. See Composing settings for the defaults.
